Kelly, they are talking about taking = metal off of=20 each side of the rotor from the tip to about 3/4 of the way to the first = oil=20 seal ring (toward center of rotor) of the three vertexs. As the = rotor=20 rocks under the stress of HIGH horsepower generation due to flexing of = Eshaft=20 the rotor tips can touch the side housing causing damage, this is to = give a bit=20 more clearance under those conditions. For normal usage, it = appears to=20 convey no benefit - but high boost or N20 usage may require this to = prevent=20 rotor/wall contact.

the bottom of slot (2.017 mm) to the top of slot (2.026 mm) = which
