     I cut both sides .015
       Ken

Ken,
Which side?
George (down under)

I am surprised you never heard of it as its just common practice with people I know that are drag racing.
Rob told me to do this when I showed him a set of rotors that had signs of scuffing at the tips and the side housing also showed scuffing from the tips digging in, Rob said that he has never seen any problems with compression loss or anything and theres no problem having them lose but there is problems having them tight, I have over 1000 hrs running them like this and have never seen the scuffing at the tips that I had in the early days, its cheep insurance.
Dave Atkins also clearances his rotors but he only cuts one side.

  Ken

That's off each side, Rob at Pineapple racing takes 20 thousandths off each side but I figured the 15 should do it.

Hi Ken,

Why is it that you do this?  I've never heard Leon, Lynn, or Bruce mention this being necessary.

Cheers,
Rusty (waiting for contractor season, so I can start shooting them)
