Yes, I did that too. Then added "WAYYYY off the road".....

Then we got discussing how FAR off the road I'd be.

The guys were fascinated, and even gave me trade prices.

 

I told the local hydraulic shop who made my oil lines it was for an experimental airplane. He said he would only make them if I promised him a ride.  Guess it depends on the individual shop.  Paul Conner
