After 5 minutes temps had pretty well settled out. The radiator was at 195 degrees and the "hot side" oil was at 223. The water pressure was only 12 psi while it hits 22 psi indicated during climb with cowling in place. It seems to say that the radiator is large enough if I can just get the air into using some of Dr Ed's magic on the diffuser. Wish I had recorded the fuel flow. This is the first time that the EM2 has flagged EGT in excess of 1750 degrees. The OAT was 80 degrees. My thoughts on the thin radiator was that the limiting operation was when you were waiting on the ground and during the climb. That is why I picked Griffin's sprint car thickness. They build most of the NASCAR radiators I think and the NASCAR cars or either at speed or idle for the most part. Will probably fly in the morning with the pressure differential measuring the plenum pressure before the T/B and in front of the radiator to see how bad the drop is to the radiator. Still big noise. Awaiting $180 shipment of insulation material from spruce. Bernie
