That is the option of using the RX-8 crank sensor on the rotary of your choice when using the EC2 engine controller.  Engine builder is responsible for purchase of and proper positioning of the sensor and trigger wheel when doing this.  I can furnish the specs if anyone is interested.

Can someone explain what is the "RX-8 crank sensor option"?

Tracy,
Can the RX-8 Crank sensor option be retrofit to existing EC-2's ?

Assuming you have no problems mounting the wheel & sensor in the same relative position they are on the RX-8 engine, it will work fine on any rotary (1,2, 0r 3 rotors).  You must order EC2 with the RX-8 crank sensor option for this to work of course.

Tracy,
Can the RX8 timing wheel and sensor be used on the RX7 and can I use it on the single without causing other problems - using your EMS.
