You may still remove one of these plugs and replace with a fitting to provide oil for your redrive. IMHO Kelly Troyer -------------------- ===> I just talked to Bruce, and he does bypass these filter pad holes internally, so they are meant to remain plugged as he sends them. I also asked about removing the plugs, and putting in a fitting for redrive oil feed. He said the hole is too large for 1/8 NPT, and the castings are usually too thin to comfortably drill for a 1/4 NPT, so he taps them for 7/16" set screws, and epoxies them in place. He does NOT recommend trying to remove one of these screws. He said you'd basically have to drill it out, and any shavings that fell inside would go straight to the rear bearing. Since some castings have a bit more meat around these ports, he has installed fittings in the past. One example is Bernie Kerr's engine. Back to the big foam monster (cowl)... Rusty
