      Rusty,

I know you have a lot of opinions but I suggest you check with Bruce. I
believe he drills out the brass plug from the pan side of the rear housing,
then uses a long 3/8 inch bit to drill through the oil gallery at the top of
the housing to interconnect the gallerys. That allows him to machine off the
stock oil filter pad and plug the holes. You may still remove one of these
plugs and replace with a fitting to provide oil for your redrive. IMHO

You know, while at first thought, it seems a good idea the way that
Bruce has machined off the oil pad, it now seems to me that it is better
left on to allow mounting of a bypass plate where it is easy to tap off oil
for other uses. Of course you can still get oil for your turbo from the
front plate by drilling out the brass plug on the supply line.
