is centered on my high impedance injectors, which breaks your rule.


 Well, not MY rule, but Sorry, I forgot to mention that fact.  Apparently in
the late 1986-88 models they switched from low to high impedance injectors
using the same electrical connector with the centered tab (this is
apparently not documented in any Mazda engine data I have).

 I also have a set of high impedance injectors with a center tab that I got
when I though ordered LOW impedance injectors.  When I contacted the
supplier, he was surprised as he also went by the "rule" Center-tab=Low
Impedance.

.  It  appears that perhaps due to the likelyhood of the wrong impedance
injectors being replaced and blowing the CPU, Mazda standarized on center
tab for low impedance and offset for high impedance. But, you are right,
there is an exception to the Center - Offset tab rule.
