Windows Meta Files (WMF) and Autocad (DXF) are good export formats in that they are vector files that can be imported by a lot of packages. 2) Get a copy of "The Gimp". There is a version for Windoze if that is what you're running. It's a Photoshop wannabe, that will cost you exactly $0. You'll be able to work on the JPG files and do lots of other neat things if you'll just spend a few hours with the included documentation.
