I immagine that truck set does not have ls1 coil tips on
end. I got a generic set for a v-8 and called MSD and the send(for free) 8
LS1 ends that were easy to crimp onto the generic wires (that I cut to whatever
length I wanted.

The wires I mentioned
were supposed to be for a truck IIRC. They work fine as received, as long
as you can live with the short length. Amazingly, the coil location, and
wires are about the only thing I haven't changed along the way.
