Yes, that would be 14.625".

The earlier "fixed pitch" cowls (which I have) were designed for 4"
extensions. All cowls are now made for the compact hub CS prop or 2.5"
extension with fixed pitch.

I assume crank mounted sensor? Very clean solution and will give more
accurate ignition timing but added cost. Creeping increases in cost has
killed many a project.

Ahh! That should work fine Clive but I would think the direct drive market
would be limited and make it difficult to justify the development costs.
But I enjoy seeing these ideas developed. Best of luck with it.
