So far I have roughed out a mock up in foam. With the following objectives: * Replacement of stock Mazda cover & water pump housing in one piece with integral filler cap. * To be able to bolt straight onto stock Lycoming ( conical ) engine mount. Dynafocal possible would depend on demand. * Relocate water pump & alternator to same unit * No distributor drive height problem by deleting distributor (crank Sensor) * Weight saving about 15lbs * No new aircraft engine mount to fabricate weight saving and cost saving for many existing aircraft from 0235 to 0360. * Same thrust line as Lycoming As this is still in the design and fabrication stage. I would be interested to have input from anyone who is potentially interest to asses demand and my design goals are on the right track.
