I am investigating casting an = accessory cover=20 to replace the stock Mazda cover. So far I have roughed out a mock = up in=20 foam. With the following objectives:
  • Replacement of stock Mazda cover = & water=20 pump housing in one piece with integral filler cap.
  • To be able to bolt straight onto = stock=20 Lycoming ( conical ) engine mount. Dynafocal possible would depend = on=20 demand.
  • Relocate water pump & = alternator to same=20 unit
  • No distributor drive height = problem by=20 deleting distributor (crank Sensor)
  • Weight saving about 15lbs
  • No new aircraft engine mount to = fabricate=20 weight saving and cost saving for many existing aircraft from 0235 = to=20 0360.
  • Same thrust line as Lycoming=20
As this is still in the design and = fabrication=20 stage.

I would be interested to have input = from=20 anyone who is potentially interest to asses demand and my = design=20 goals are on the right track.
