Greetings,
Well, I did half of my homework today. I measured the current of my
Davies Craig EWP. The pump is installed in series with the mechanical
pump, and the engine was not running. According to my freshly FDA
calibrated Fluke 87, the pump draws 3.6 amps.
I didn't quite get around to running the engine for an EWP only
test. I did managed to get my cowl cheek extensions ready to rivet, made a
plate to help deflect the slipstream past the flat front of my muffler, and
installed a much brighter LED for my EM-2 alarm. I couldn't see the other
one in the sunlight, but this one will burn your retinas :-) I think it
aspires to be a laser :-) I also brought my lower cowl home for oil cooler
scoop mods, and brought the right rad duct home to improve the TB air
inlet.
Cheers,
Rusty (just great, more
fiberglass...)
