If you're going to have a 2 gallon fuel sump anyway, I'd return the fuel to it. Do you actually need the sump for some other reason? The Delta's 42gal tank is in the rear. It will take somewhere around 6ft of pipe to run the tube back there. Would the tubing and amount of return fuel be small enough that this would be an insignificant weight for the complexity saved, or would I be better off with a sump in this case?
