OK, so this takes care of the primary injectors. Since they go straight into
the block I dont see that it would make sense to move them to somewhere else
on the intake. But, what do I do about the secondary injectors? I gather
they normally fit into the bit of manifold I dont have, So should I mount
them on the tubes somehow.
In the second picture you can see my cut off stock manifold flange. It looks
like some aluminum J bends would weld up to this ok, but now - what's a good
way to attach the throttle body? I got a 2nd gen unit - see
http://kgarden.com/cozy/cz661.jpg but I don't see how this can easily attach
to four pipe ends. I've looked at the parts Paul Lamer is making, but it
doesnt seem like these would buy me much.
Any comments, suggestions etc welcome.

John, so you don't have an intake manifold yet? Here is what I've done recently, finally got rid of the stock intake manifold. I bought one of those intake flanges from Tracy many months ago. Cut out 1.5" and 2" diameter aluminum tubes and machined a plate to mate with a piece of the stock manifold that has the fuel rail. Had an aluminum welder weld it up for me. Using this piece of the stock manifold allowed me to use the stock fuel rail with no modification. These are old pictures, those SCAT tubes on there were just to get the thing running, I never intended to fly with them. Someone pointed out that they would collapse under the vacuum of low throttle settings. Well, they didn't last more than a few seconds on the first engine run. Because the manifold still had leaks somewhere, the engine was running terribly and backfired. The backfire blew some fuel back into the SCAT tubes. The fuel dissolved the connection between the wire coil and the SCAT tube and the wire coil collapsed like a slinky.
Anyway, the tubes are now composite and go to the stock dynamic chamber mounted inverted in the right wing-root area. It has been flying for a few hours now. Next step is to make a composite dynamic chamber replacement to get some more weight out.
