Since then, one of the list members sent me some data on the Meziere 55-GPM
water pump.  The data available was:

Max Flow = 55 GPM
Max pressure at no flow 10 psi.
---------------------------------

Do you recall where this data came from?  I haven't seen any such specs on
their site, or the info that came with the pump.  I'm not saying it isn't
correct, I'm just interested in finding out if there's any other specs
listed somewhere.

When I get my engine plumbed up, I may do some flow testing with the pump
before I mount it.  If it doesn't impress me, then I'll just use the stock
system.  I originally ordered the EWP for ease of installation, but since I
can use the stock pump and alternator mount, the EWP is actually going to be
harder to install now. I've also been finding that I get less brave with new
ideas as the time to fly starts to come into view.  There's a reason we let
Tracy and Ed make all the mistakes for us :-)

Rutsy,

We like to think of it as "Advancing the State of the Art" or perhaps
"Building a Body of Knowledge".  That means you lived to tell somebody about
your "Mistake" {:>)
