Hi Dana;
        Since the RV9 has the same fuse as the 7, I would guess that Van's stock battery location would be the same. I followed Van's plans for this before I began to design and build the engine mount, assuming I could work around it. Wrong. I had to move it a few inches to accommodate the mount that I built. It was more important to have the proper geometry in my mount than to work around the battery. I think I remember that you are using one of Fred's mounts in which case your requirements will be different than mine. Once I had it moved enough to accommodate the engine mount, I really didn't have any other clearance issues with the engine accessories.
