I followed Van's plans for = this before I began to design and build the engine mount, assuming I = could work around it. Wrong. I had to move it a few inches to = accommodate the mount that I built. It was more important to have the = proper geometry in my mount than to work around the battery. I think I = remember that you are using one of Fred's mounts in which case your = requirements will be different than mine. Once I had it moved enough to = accommodate the engine mount, I really didn't have any other clearance = issues with the engine accessories. Hope this helps. S.
