I found the need for a number of circuits and the only other route is thru that bulkhead at the main spar. I have my strobe power, landing lights, fuel pump, cig lighter power and antennae wires running thru there, as well as flaps, gps power(9v) and wish I had room for flap position switches. I would suggest finding a large plastic plug for the batt box which can be easily removed to jump the battery after you forget to shut off the master! you will have to cut part of the underside of the batt box at the firewall so that the conduit can make the bend.
