does your re-builder think that you will still be able to run 38" MAP continuous or does he think you will have to  
back off?  Did he recommend a max EGT?  Any comments on running lean? 
I haven't got into these questions with him yet. I'll ask.
 
The main point I've gleaned from other discussions with rotary and turbo people seems to be that the correct timing, and the timing split between plugs is CRITICAL to avoid detonation. With my REW engine and crank angle sensor arrangement there's no way to manually adjust the timing. Adjust it - Hey - I don't even know how to measure it.

Yes. I think mine would have done fine at that.

BTW - I think you might be on the right track using the stock boost controller. Max was a "little concerned" when I told him I was controlling boost manually.
