Its good to see so many like minded people sharing = experience. At the moment I have been working on my 13B turbo S5, = finally starting to look like something from an aircraft. I'm building = an RV7 QB it should be shipped from vans early next month. I'm an = aircraft sheetie with Qantas airlines down here in OZ, so progress on = empenage was quick, (2 weeks to complete ). Having my manifold welded at = the moment, water pump next witch leeds me to my question that I hope = someone can answer. The gallery that connects the inlet and outlet = inside the water pump casting just below the thermostat, should this be = blocked if not running a thermostat. I could be wrong and probably are = but with this open wouldn't the water take the route of least resistance = and recirculate back through the engine. By the way I work just a few = minutes from ATS Turbonetics and will be taking to them soon to mod the = turbo so ill let you know what they say. Cheers. Mick.
