Where did you get the Teflon tubing? And did you have to find a smaller OD
hinge pin so that the total OD of the pin plus the tubing was the same OD of
the original hinge pin? If so where did you find hinge pins and aren't you
worried that it may not be as strong?

The hinge pin retrofit consists of a wire hinge pin (stainless, I think)
