A good way to sleeve scat tube for mounting is to use slightly oversized
heat shrinkable tubing, cut a piece to length, slip over the scat tube to
where it's needed then shrink into place with a hot air gun. This also works
well to hold a bend in scat tube - slip the heat shrinkable tubing over the
scat tube, bend the scat tube to the required radius, plus just a little
extra, then shrink the tubing in place. Hold the bend in place until
everything is cool  and you should have a nicely formed bend in the scat
tube. If a little extra support is needed double up on the shrink tube.
