below for details.  In recent weeks I also received another variant
regarding a mother who's son died due to an accidental heroin overdose.  He
was stuck by a syringe hidden in a McDonald's ball play pit.  It quotes a
Houston Chronicle article published in 1994.  That one was also an urban
legend.

When you get things like these in the future, do a little bit of quick
research and see if they're real.  For this one, a quick google search for
"sam's club girl shaved head" turned up almost 400 hits.  At the very least
check with www.urbanlegends.com, they have a very extensive database of
urban legends floating around the internet.  They also list those that are
true.
