I guestimated they're about 4X as efficient as incandescent/halogen by looking at the light (candlepower) output and current draw. The lack of thermal output is instantly apparent. You can hold these suckers in your hand while they're on! Try that with any equivalent light output halogen and you have the fingerprints of an MIB guy!
