I drilled a hole in my fuel vent as well!

Solution: slide heat shrink tubing over the aluminum and heat. (BTW, test
with gasoline first. I did, and the common white stuff Lancair sent out with
the wiring kit is fuel proof.)....Ted Noel...L-IV P
