John Barrett,
I am just back in town and catching up on the post. Am I to believe
that with the existing GPS system and with the SFS 2000 that flying
approaches to ILS minimums is possible (but not legal)? Did I
misunderstand the post or am I missing something? Is an altimeter
reading or a GPS signal good enough to do this now without a WAAS in
place, or does the SFS add something that makes altitude reliable?
