Rob,
For what it's worth, the FU-3 blocks I got with my kit are threaded 1/8 NPT
(which for some reason that I have yet to understand, is about 1/4"
diameter). They're used for the drain valves. The FU-1 block can be used
for the finger strainers, and it is threaded 3/8 NPT.
The reason I decided to go with the screens is in case a chunk of, oh,
something, got into the tank. One piece of debris could clog the fuel line.
With the screens, it will take several pieces of debris before the fuel line
was clogged.
And no, my fuel supply doesn't come in "smooth" or "extra chunky" grades. I
was just wondering if anybody had the screens clog up on them.
Gary ;-)
