I just ordered a pair of these brass inserts from Vern.  He called them
"FU-3" (their part number).  They are brass blocks threaded with 1/4 NPT to
accept the premade fuel strainers.

The strainers are also available from Aircraft Spruce but the brass blocks
are not.
