My manual suggests getting lightweight cloth from the model airplane hobby store. My recollection from those days twenty years ago when I worked at one was that it was just like the lightweight cloth in the kit. Sorry I can't give you the canopy height number as my kit is in Watsonville and I'm not. Maybe I can do it later this week... I don't recall what the 1/4 inch tube is for -- I assume it's a thicker walled tube than is used for hydraulic lines. - Rob Wolf >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
