It is not very expensive and is the only way to properly upset these brass rivets. The set screws down to deform the rivet and it has a lip around the circumference and a raised "dot" in the center. It mounts in a vise. Included is a second tip which will push out the old rivet. There is even a nice hard cardboard box to store it in. The Rapco part number is RA-825. My price tag says $24.95. I bought it about ten years ago. Don't try any other method of upsetting brake rivets as you may crack an expensive pad. Be sure your backing plates are clean and flat. You may find the area around the rivet holes pushed up and that will hold the pad away from the plate and lead to cracking the pad. Hand file this off and check the hole size.
