She comes highly recommended and I concur. We worked side by side on the job and she is very professional and personable. We had a lot of fun on the job. By the way, we dared to stretch leather around the edge of the glare shield and avoid that unsightly french seam staring you in the face. It worked beautifully and looks quite nice. Glue 1/8 in foam on the glare shield then glue the leather onto it. Jan was pleased with the results. Tell her Hi. I owe her a ride. Her prices are also fair as she does not have a shop overhead to recover. Many compliments are received about her work. You can't go wrong using Jan Stroh. I used the paint shop at Tacoma narrows. Leonard shot the plane and I also worked on the plane in the shop. You think you have everything prepped, primered and all set for shooting the final paint but I had to put in another 200 hours on the bird in the paint shop doing body work and extra prep. They put in about 100 hours. It took about four weeks time and the plane was shown at Arlington 2000. We were pressed for time. This was Leonard's first airplane as he painted high end Jaguars, BMWs and Mercedes Benz cars. Overall I was pleased with the results. I still need to rub out some of the clear coat but the finish still looks great. He shot the plane and there were no runs or dry spots. He is an artist with the gun.Shop time was $45 per hour at that time. It is higher now I am sure.
