Greetings:

Having started my search for stuff to hang on my firewall, perhaps some of
you
who are flying would comment on particular items you have purchased.

For example, I suspect not all oil coolers are created equal. Is there one
which has proven to be superior to others in the field...(manufacturer/part
number?)

I've heard some builders complain about their heater control valves leaking
hot air into the cabin when supposedly closed. Do you just blindly buy from
the Lancair catalog or Aircraft Spruce or do we have other good options?

Helped a friend change oil and filter on his RV6 this weekend. What a mess
with that filter screwed directly to the engine! How about some inexpensive
solutions to placing the filter vertically on the firewall?

When I mentioned to the owner of the local FBO that I had put down a
deposit
with Lancair on new IO360B1F, he said he could save me some money by going
directly to the local Lycoming rep. Of course, I have not heard back from
him
yet. Are there any better deals out there on new engines?

Now only 1/2 rudderless.
