I have the same shelf running back. I also made a hard shell duct to replace the large flex hose connected to the NACA scoop for cabin air. I also incorporated a hinged door just above the hydo pump to keep the rear shelf safely closed off if not used. 15 lbs should be the maximum weight aft of the hydro pump.
