Your stormscope may have an "inhibit" input which is normally used to inhibit
storm detection during com transmit. This could be tied to the hydraulic pump
circuit to inhibit the false replies during pump operation. Wouldn't help
your radio noise, of course, but could be used as a last resort. I would use
a relay to protect the inhibit input from voltage spikes.
