As most of you know, it ain't easy or cheap for a IV-P. Well, it is TWICE as bad for a turbine. There appears to be some hope on the horizon after Lancair gets its IV-P turbine flying this summer. However, we are still hearing that various hours in "type" may be required. This is not unusual or objectionable. The problem is, how to get the hours? Assuming the best, which is that some underwriter will allow non-turbine hours to count (up to a point), how can one get even IV-P hours? Any suggestions/offers?
