I have mine located in the baggage area behind the flap motor inside the rear tunnel. I had no space under the seats after putting in the inboard hydraulic gear door plumbing. I have no problem with noise either on the radios or on the strikefinder. The shielded wire you can get with the unit obviously works well and I twisted the power and ground wires to the unit (not sure that was necessary).
