I have built a 235 with a 235 engine, no header tank and a 2 blade MT
electric propeller.  The battery is on the cold side of the firewall and the
hydraulic pump is on the aft side of rear baggage compartment bulkhead.

Empty weight is 964 pounds (with oil).  It balances from the lightest flight
weight of one pilot and very little fuel to the heaviest flight weight of 2
pilots, 25 gallons of fuel and 50 pounds in the baggage compartment.  At the
lightest flight weight the CG is just aft of the old forward limit of 15%
mac and at the heaviest weight it is about 1/2 inch forward of the aft CG
limit of 29% mac.

The airplane is well behaved at both loadings but is somewhat less pitch
stable at the heavy weight.  I use the AOA system on approaches and find it
useful.  At the heaviest weight the best angle airspeed is about 5 mph
higher than at the lightest weight.
