We've had many a heated discussion on this medium over the years and though
most have been related to the central theme, i.e., building and/or
trouble-shooting Lancairs (for which Marv is owed a perpetual "Thank You"),
Gerard J. Cerchio's highly stupud political comments should be retracted and
flushed the next time nature calls.
Mr. Cerchio, I recommend you reach down, get a firm grip on your ears and
pull, hard, so you can see the world in the real light of day. The only
people who infringed on your rights that day were the cowardly murderers
that took over the four airplanes and crashed them into us (may they be
wrapped in pig-skin for burial when their miserable bodies are found).
You are welcome to your view of the administration's legitimacy (although,
isn't Garvey still the FAA Administrator?) but such comments have no place
in the LML. Talk about your Lancair, or whatever you're flying, but stick
your poisonous political comments where the sun don't shine.

[Gentlemen... Dan is right about the central theme of the LML, that being
the building, maintaining, and flying of our Lancair aircraft. While
I've been pretty lenient about allowing posts regarding GA related current
events in the past, I think it would be best if we stick to the straight and
narrow and keep the discussions Lancair related. I operate the LML because
I really enjoy doing it and I derive much personal satisfaction from
providing something useful to the Lancair brotherhood. When things
spin off in an unacticipated direction and the posts become vitriolic my
enjoy-o-meter slips to near zero. Let's keep things on track and
refrain from injecting any unnecessary noise into the system. With
that in mind please be advised that any further posts regarding this
topic will NOT be approved so don't bother sending them. If you have
a philosophical or political difference of opinion with any of the comments
that have emerged during this thread, please take them up privately with
the original sender and keep them away from the LML. Thanks for your
time.
