I am planning almost the exact same fuel configuration as you describe, with the exception that I am only keeping the leading edge dry forward of the joggle on the top skin (similar to the current fast build). >1. The wing is so narrow at its outboard ends.< No narrower(shallower) than a 360 extended fuel wing. One must be very careful when fueling (no guerillas allowed), it is always best fuel it yourself. I also plan to install a 'bash plate' on the lower skin. I am not finished yet, so I cannot address the "splashing". >2. BL165/BL171< I had this discussion with Steve Lorentzen at the factory a couple of years ago. He saw no problem going to BL171 with fuel when also installing winglets. >2a. Fuel probe inaccuracy.< Should be minimal. >2b. Pitot tube location.< I plan to locate mine on the winglet(also discussed with Steve Lorentzen). AOA Port on the opposite winglet. >FYI II. Inboard aft three bays (aileron pushrod tube).< My only concern is to make sure that the e-glass tube for the aileron pushrod is the CORRECT (not too big, not too small) size at the BL25.5 rib. The manual indicates final sizing when setting up the aileron controls in the fuselage (after wing closing).
