There are a few bugs that I am working on with the folks at Pillar Point. BTW, the Pillar Point people (Allan & Dennis) has been very responsive to my problems and suggestions. They are in the process of debugging the problems (minor and quite fixable via change in programming logic) and will be sending me a new controller with revised programming in a week or two. After additional testing I will make a full report on my findings and experiences on the system. Please be patient. At the moment however, I would like to caution builders who are installing the infrared sensors from using aluminum flanges sold by Aircraft Spruce. The system will not work if these flanges are used, as is. The problem is that the sensors do not protrude far enough in the header tank causing fuel/air detection problems. If you still would like to use these flanges, you'll need to cut the flange height down to ensure that the IR sensors are fully exposed inside the header tank. I ended up removing these AL flanges and my friend Micheal made me some 1/4-inch phenolic flanges. These flanges worked well and eliminated errorneous status signals from the IR sensors. Rick Argente PS It is quite wonderful not to have to have to remember to shut the transfer pumps off and not getting the "fuel-odor warning" when one does! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
