I agree with John Herminghaus,

Bolt up the holes that are aligned correctly, and drill out the misaligned
holes to fit a larger bolt size.

Drill through the metal bracket  side first, and let that hole act as a pilot
for the softer plastic.

[There was an article submitted by Bob Young in the last issue of the
Lancair Network News (#49) regarding the re-drilling of the aft spar in a
Lancair IV.  The procedure was performed to cure a heavy wing at the
recommendation of Charlie Kohler after the initial test flight.  <Marv> ]
