Jim,

     Is your naca for the inlet to the oil cooler forward or rear on the
top of the cowl? If it is on the front half it is in a negative pressure
area and needs to be moved to the rear or on the bottom if forward is
better for your engine installation. As far as "cooking on the ramp", we
put two drop down vents on the top of our cowl. The are hinged so the high
pressure while flying keeps them closed and at rest they drop down to the
open position and let out all that nasty hot air.
