I've unloaded about this before, but as an update, I'll mention that the
UV Smooth Prime that I put on last summer is still shrinking, and I'll
probably end up sanding it all off.  Stick with 2-part epoxy primers; the
WLS is good, but tough to sand, as everyone has noted.  DuPont Corlar has
worked well for me, and I've had pretty good results with PPG's DP-40/48,
although I don't think the latter has as high a solids content, so if you're
using it for filler it will take more coats.

Another note on the PPG urethane paints:  I had nothing but fisheyes
with it, and couldn't solve the problem with new filters, new air lines, new
spray gun, more and different prep cleaners, etc., etc.  Interestingly, it's
a three-part paint, and the volume of accelerator is very small.  The
natural thing is to measure it out with syringe, right?  Well, I had an
interesting e-mail from a builder in Australia who says the problem is
silicone compounds used in the syringes, for lubrication, and possibly for
the plunger tip.  He says the silicone contamination caused bad fisheyes for
him, too.  I did use a syringe for measuring out the accelerator.  Also
interesting, I switched to DuPont's Imron and have had no further problems.
The Imron is a two-part, 3:1 mix, so both components are simply poured into
a measuring/mixing cup.  No syringe, no fisheyes.
