Mark,

Be careful about getting your stall speed too low.  There is a problem with
the Glasair Super II if you install the slotted flaps and the extended
wingtips you can get the stall speed below minimum controllable airspeed
(MCA) ... in simpler terms I will be able to get my plane flying so slow
that I will not have enough speed to make my control surfaces effective.

So have a look at your MCA (I have no idea what it is on a Lancair) and then
figure out how slow you really want to go.
