Has anyone installed or flown Sierra's autopilot? Another Es builder and
myself were impressed by the compactness and simplicity of the servos as
well as the fact that it will fly from input from the sfs2000. However, I
don't care to be a pioneer.
I'm planning on just one sfs screen for my primary flight screen and instead
of a second screen for nav, I was thinking of a garmin 430 (for the same
price as a second Sierra screen.) That way I will have not only redundancy,
but radios to boot. I think I'll also be able to legally file a gps flight
plan. As a followup question, will either or both the Sierra or Garmin feed
route or approach info to any of the S-tec's?
Thanks
