I think there is a real danger with these flimsy lines. I have one of
the
early Glasair retracts, and I have had both break lines fail within a
month
of each other. Not at the brake, but where the line flexes at the
scissors.
The failure seems to happen when the lines get old and cold, OAT
2 degrees F. 14yrs. old, they just can't take it. I think it isn't a
good idea
to run hard line clear to the brake, the Cleveland brakes need to float
some
