Bob,
I bought an hydraulic pressure guage recently.  I think I'll use a DHI 36"
line to connect it to the pressure line.  The guage is a a must as you will
always know the system status.  In addition, you will be able to know the
pre-charge of the accumulator.  As you know, you cycle the flaps to bring
down the pressure and it will suddenly fall off to zero.  The pressure at
which it falls off is your accumulator precharge pressure.  The guage sold
by A/C Spruce is a Mill std unit and costs $215 plus tax and freight.  I
plan to mount mine under the emergency hand pump handle on the fwd face of
the spar box.  A good flex line like the DHI 36" one will work well.  I'll
install a Tee fitting just aft of the nose gear well below the hyd quadrant.
Walter
