When I had my accident with my 360, I considered rebuilding it using the
wings, etc, from a "fresh" kit. So I compiled a short list of then
available kits (October,'00). Here it is:
Roy Bredfield 619-272-0755 nearly complete 320. Legacy on order.
Impeccable construction. San Diego.
Mike Stolle 505-797-9216 airframe 45% complete $20,950 OBO.
erik.stolle@afotec.af.mil AOPA classifieds. Albeq., NM
Geo. Arrambide 210-654-6760 slow build kit - never started. San Antonio,
TX
Mike La Riviere 603-679-2995 320 - very little done kit bought in '93.
$23000 asking. stub wing attached to fslg.
Mark Pelkington 320 Quickbuild. 88 hours on the kit in California.
Inherited the kit. mark@skywagons.com
I decided to let my 360 go in the insurance salvage sale. A gentleman from
Texas bought it, and will augment his 360 kit with the panel, interior,
engine from my airplane. It was sad to see it go but I've got the IV-P
project that I'm very much into.
Hope this list helps.
BTW, when washing the canopy, the sailplane types, which I used to be one
of, would flood the plexiglass with water and gently sponge off the dust. A
chamois would then be used to dry the water. Then a product like Novus #1
would be applied with a clean (washed many times) cotton baby diaper. The
diaper would be folded so that each surface of the diaper would be used once
- never re-used until washed. Cleaning the canopy was always a ritual - and
NOBODY!!! ever touched someone else's canopy.
